Rev. Dr. Sam Oye is the Founder and Lead Pastor of The Transforming Church (TTC) in Abuja, Nigeria, and the Convener of Prophetic Prayer Hour (PPH) — an online prayer platform that gathers a global audience.
He is widely known for practical, faith-filled teaching on leadership, relationships, marriage, faith and purpose, shared from the pulpit, online and through the weekly Sam Oye Podcast.

Biography
Born Samuel Oye on 13 April 1974 in Kaduna, Kaduna State, to Simeon Adisa and Florence Mopelola Shoroye, he hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, and grew up in Bauchi State.
He attended Government Day Secondary School, Bauchi (1985–1988), Government Science Secondary School, Azare (1989–1991) and Wasimi Community High School, Maryland, Lagos, and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Ibadan. He worked as a secretary with Bantale & Co Ltd, Lagos, before entering full-time ministry.
His ministry began in student fellowships — as assistant leader of the Fellowship of Christian Students in Azare (1989), assistant to the president of the Deeper Life School Outreach at Wasimi (1994) and District Student Leader for the Deeper Life Bible Church, Onigbongbo District, Lagos. He later served as Youth Pastor at Goodnews Miracle Bible Church, Alasia, and as president of Dominion Youth Ministry (Dominion Team) in Lagos.
In 2000 he founded the Springtime Christian Center in Lagos. After relocating to Abuja in 2002 it became Harvest House International Church, and later The Transforming Church Worldwide, which has branches across Nigeria and in the United Kingdom.
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic he began an online prayer session that grew into the Prophetic Prayer Hour (PPH), streamed daily on YouTube and social media with participants from over 110 countries. He has since hosted Prophetic Prayer conferences in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and Trinidad and Tobago.
He has been a guest on the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), TBN Africa, TBN Salsa (USA), TBN's Praise the Lord, Daystar Television and Channels TV.

Rev. Dr. Sam Oye is married to Pastor Mary Sam Oye, his partner in life and ministry. They are blessed with two children.
